This is the first set of cards ever made for a season prior the 1973-'74 season, which is the first one with steals and blocks stats officially recorded. For this season a special system of calculation was set in place, in order to obtain steals and blocks ratings. So now you could appreciate all the mytical players like Russel, Chamberlain, West, Hayes, Unseld and many others in their top seasons of play.
